Blue Chip 225 has been successful placing
prospective student-athlete’s to Division I,
II and III college programs all over the
country over the last 11 years. This past
summer we created an Elite Division of
players within the regular body of camp for
both Rising Senior and Rising Junior
sessions. The Elite Division targets
prospective student-athlete’s who are top
Division I prospects and are considered the
very best players in their state, league and
among the best high school players in the
country.
The Elite Division is “Invitation Only!” To be considered
for the Elite Division all prospects must be
recommended by their high school or Elite
Team coaches by email to
tspencer@bluechiplax.com or by phone at
203-650-9571. A player may not be
recommended by a parent.
The large majority of athletes in
attendance for the regular division of Blue
Chip 225 are invited because of a coach's
recommendation, but not all coaches
participate in the process. If your son is
an experienced lacrosse player looking for
exposure to Division I, II and III college
programs then he is eligible to enroll in
the regular division without being
recommended by his coach.
The Elite Division selection process is
subjective and not a perfect science. With
that said, our group of Elite Players from
the summer of 2009 was exceptional! Although
not every athlete will be accepted to Elite
status, the regular body of campers at Blue
Chip 225 is very competitive, and are all
college prospects at some level. In fact,
our Blue Chip All Stars from the regular
body of campers competed on the same level
in games against the Elite Division during
our All Star venues in the evening.

There is a place for every young lacrosse
player who aspires to play in college. The
goal of Blue Chip 225 Lacrosse is to help
place prospective student-athletes in a
college program that best suits their level
of play and gives them the best college
playing experience.
