Things to Know

 

Registration

Please read and follow the directions carefully.

 Registration will run from 12-2 pm in the dormitory assigned by Bryant University.  
We will have signs on the campus to direct you to your dormitory. Field activities will begin in waves promptly at 2pm.

Unfortunately due to camp constraints with insurance and facilities, we cannot have any early arrivals at camp. For campers who have travel constraints that require overnight accommodations before registration please contact Denise Spencer at 925-718-5758.

Departure

All campers will play one more game on Thursday morning and check out will be available from 9am-12pm.  Camp will close at 12pm on Thursday July 1, 2010 for Rising Seniors and at 12pm on Thursday, July 8, 2010 for Rising Juniors.

Campers should be picked up at the residence halls where staff members will be performing room inspections and distributing passes for campers to turn in at checkout  Checkout will be in the same dormitory as check in.

NO INSPECTION TICKET, NO CHECKOUT, NO EXCEPTIONS!

Medications

Any medications that are brought to camp MUST be in the original container with instructions for dosage.  All medications will remain with the campers for self administration.

Medical Form

All Medical forms should be completed  payable to Blue Chip Lacrosse and sent to our office  with the $50 key/damage deposit check prior to your arrival at camp.  Click here  to download the form if you have you not already sent it in.


Transportation

Auto: Please check the directions page for information. GPS USERS PLEASE NOTE THE OFFICE ADDRESS IS NOT THE LOCATION OF CAMP!! Please use the Bryant University address:   1150 Douglas Pike  Smithfield, RI 02917.

Airport: You can travel to Bryant University via TF Greene Airport in Providence, RIYou can make a reservation for our shuttle service to get from the airport to campus.  Flight itineraries that arrive by noon and don’t depart before 2pm are strongly suggested.

Directions to our hotel
From TF Green Airport - Depart TF Green Airport traveling east, it then changes to Wells Avenue. Turn left onto Lake Shore Drive. Turn left onto SR-117A(Warwick Avenue). Turn left onto Airport Rd. Turn right onto US-1(Post Road). Take ramp onto SR-37. At Exit 1B, take ramp onto I-295. Take Exit 8B onto SR-7(Douglas Pike). The Hotel is on the right.From Boston Logan Airport - Depart Boston Logan Airport on local road traveling northeast. Turn left onto Court Road



What to bring to Camp

·         Equipment - Helmet, Gloves, Arm pads, Shoulder Pads, 2 Sticks, Mouthpiece.

·         Linens, Pillow, and Towels.
(oversized twin/dorm bed)

·         Shoes for Grass and Turf.

·         Sweatshirt and Rain Gear

·         Rolls of quarters for laundry/snack/drink machines (there are no change machines )

·         Shorts and T-Shirts.

·         Toiletries.

·         Money for Camp Store.

·         Alarm Clock.

·         Sneakers.

·         Positive Attitude
