Everything in Blue Chip Lax, one scannable tour

Blue Chip Lax is a free browser-based college lacrosse dynasty sim with a decade of systems stacked inside it. This page is the map: every major feature in two or three sentences, with a deeper page wherever one exists.

Build the roster

Recruiting. A yearly cycle of boards, banked effort points, official visits and one Signing Day reveal, with realism caps that keep a D3 from buying a 5★. The keyword tour is at the recruiting simulator page; the working manual is the recruiting guide.

Scouting. A three-stage calendar — showcases to discover, school ball to sharpen, workouts to lock in — moves prospects up a visibility ladder from Unknown to Evaluated, and sometimes surfaces a hidden gem.

The transfer portal. Unhappy underclassmen carry real transfer risk; NIL, roles and winning keep them home. Departures sting, and arrivals come with stories.

Rotation & lineup. Starters, bench order, identity roles and stacking specialist slots (your Captain can be your FOGO), plus six tunable usage shares. Full detail on the manager game page.

Live the season

The season sim. Full schedules across 248 real programs (or a 288-team fictional world), box scores, goal-by-goal play-by-play, conference tournaments and a national bracket — see what the simulator covers.

Schemes. Four offensive and four defensive styles in a matchup matrix with swings up to ±1.3 goals, flagged weekly.

Program Pulse. The locker room, live: twelve kinds of issues — a benched talent, a homesick freshman, boosters circling — each triggered by your real situation, answered with coaching choices whose promises the game tracks to season’s end.

Rivalries. Named trophies, series ledgers, dossiers and bulletin-board chatter — the full treatment is on the rivalries page.

Promotion & relegation. A three-division pyramid with real movement at both boundaries; the thought experiment lives at the pro/rel page.

Keep the story

The Yearbook. Every season ends as a page — signature win, senior send-offs, an honest A–F coach grade — shelved and reopenable; the memory system is explained on the Yearbook page.

Legends & bloodlines. Career timelines, retired jerseys, GOAT debates, and generated family lines — the long game is the dynasty page.

Coach career. XP, a nine-perk skill tree, earned reputation badges, and pressure gauges that read like a board meeting — compared honestly with the genre on the Football Manager page.

Scenarios & Guided Mode. Ten jump-in starts (The 1-Win Miracle, Signing Day Heist, Hot Seat Saturday…), each a real sim state, plus a skippable one-hint-at-a-time Guided Mode for new coaches.

Analytics & keepsakes. Optional supporter tiers add trend dashboards, extra save slots, a printable Dynasty Almanac and cosmetic skins. The whole core game above is free — none of it is gated.

This actually happened in-game: all of it, in one save

Every system on this page shows up in one real run. The Wisslake Herons opened 1–17; scouting and recruiting produced a three-5★ Signing Day; the rivalry ledger filled up against Riverton Eastern until the Granite Trophy changed hands; the coach survived the hot seat; the 2031 season ended 18–0 with a national title; and the pyramid promoted them to D2 the year after. None of it scripted — just the systems compounding.

FAQ

Quick questions, straight answers.

What kind of game is Blue Chip Lax?

A college lacrosse dynasty and management sim that runs in your browser. You make the coaching and program decisions; the engine simulates the games, seasons and careers. No download, and no account needed to start.

Which features are free?

The whole core game: the season sim, recruiting, scouting, the portal, rotation, schemes, Program Pulse, rivalries, the Yearbook, promotion and relegation, and dynasty saves. Optional supporter tiers add extras like analytics dashboards, more save slots, a printable almanac and AI-written flavor.

Are there quick scenarios or do I have to start a full dynasty?

Both. Ten jump-in scenarios — like The 1-Win Miracle or Signing Day Heist — drop you into a real simulated situation with objectives, and any scenario can convert into a normal ongoing dynasty save.

Is there help for new players?

Yes — a skippable Guided Mode walks you through one thing at a time in plain English, and a Coach Assist button will set sensible options for you and tell you exactly what it did.
